Salisbury University Arboretum 1.0

The Salisbury University Arboretum app offers a comprehensive platform for users to explore the expansive 200-acre campus, featuring a diverse collection of over 3,000 trees. The app allows for an in-depth examination of champion trees, facilitates searches by tree name, supports screenshot creation, and provides detailed navigation to building locations.

Salisbury University horticulturists commenced the documentation and recording of their collections in 1985, leading to the Arboretum's accreditation by the American Public Gardens Association (APGA). In 2018, the Arboretum achieved Level III Accreditation from the ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program and was listed in the Morton Register of Arboreta. The mission of Salisbury University is to showcase a rich variety of herbaceous and woody plant species within a beautifully maintained campus environment. These plants serve as vital resources that enhance educational and research opportunities while providing aesthetic enjoyment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors alike.
